The television show Mad Men depicted the lives of businessmen in America during the 1960s. During this era, dressing sharply for business was a thing that was expected of men and of women, for that matter. Leather accessories like belts, watch straps, and wallets have also seen an increase in sale in recent years. If you see a young businessman around town or in the city, it is very likely that he will have at least four different leather accessory items on him at any given time.

It is difficult to tell what may or may not start a trend in the world of fashion. It could be a television show like Mad Men or something completely out of left field. What does seem to be certain, however, is that a well-dressed man with a tailored suit and great accessories is seen as a man who is put together and ready to take on the world.
