Although 74% of American adults wear pajamas to bed, another 26% either sleep in the buff or wear something else, like old t-shirts or sweatpants. For some 61% of people, it’s because they don’t have enough options to choose from and may not like what they’ve already come across. Others, however, simply haven’t found the right pajamas for adults to help them get a good night’s rest.

If you’re on the lookout for new PJs for adults, try one of these three styles:

• Get a matching set. There’s nothing quite like a good pair of matching pajamas. You’ve seen them before as button-down tops and matching pants or shorts, and they usually have a single bold color with some piping along the edges or have stripes and other trendy patterns. These pajamas for adults are ideal for lounging around in, and they look chic, too. You can often find these PJs in fabrics such as cotton, flannel, silk, and more.
• Find some patterned pajama pants. Just because it’s sleepwear doesn’t mean it has to be boring! Pair them with a matching pajama top or find a comfortable tank top or camisole. Like matching pajama sets, these pants are usually made from flannel, cotton, or satiny and silky materials.
• Wear a pajama onesie. There’s one nostalgic trend that’s actually catching on with adults, and that’s onesie pajamas! You’ve probably seen footed pajamas for babies and children, but now these onesies are made in adult sizes, too. Some of these are made with feet, hoods, drop seats, and other accessories. Even animal onesie pajamas for adults are becoming trendy because they give grownups the chance to look like cats, rabbits, cows, lions, and any of their other favorite animals. It looks cute and it’s a fun way to go to sleep, and because they’re made in fabrics like fleece and flannel, they’re comfy, too!
